About Me

My name is Rosa and I am an Edinburgh based writer, interested in theatre, comedy and creative storytelling.

I recently graduated with a History MA Hons from the University of Edinburgh. I wrote my dissertation [which won the Richard Pares Award] on Spike Milligan, exploring how the second world war influenced both his life and comedy, and how each in turn shaped the cultural sphere of the country post-war.

Beyond a historical interest, I am passionate about the creative arts and literature. In my writing, I like to explore how contemporary art and the conversations surrounding it,  both reflect and shape current ideas about British identity.
